Driving up the East Coast of Australia, wife, child and driver all took great joy from music made in grizzly, rainy Ireland. Sing-song family and most importantly daughter gets an education in proper joyous, intelligent, brilliantly conceived pop music. Thanks Cathy!

Completely inspired, overjoyed, daunted and generally turned on by this. A really great album full of classic, ancient melodies, amazing production and arrangements, beautifully sung and played.

I’m a bit of a magpie and love to pilfer, listen, collect and store ideas for those winter months when it comes time to build a nest (of songs).
Heard today an analogy of Ireland’s economic/credit woes:

“Only when the waters recede can you see who’s swimming naked.”
